Bostik Fill-A-Gap Filler is a strong, flexible, acrylic filler suitable for use on interior and exterior areas (where not directly exposed to water or where water pools).
Bostik Fill-A-Gap Filler offers superior adhesion properties when cured and is more flexible than conventional fillers.
Bostik Fill-A-Gap Filler can be painted over with most types of paint, provides excellent adhesion to plasterboard, wood, brick, concrete, glass and ceramic tiles.
Directions:
1. All surfaces should be clean, dry and free from dust or grease. Ensure all loose material is removed from working area.
2. Cut tip off cartridge. Cut nozzle to desired size at 45 degrees angle. Screw nozzle onto cartridge. Place cartridge into caulking gun bottom end first.
3. Hold gun at 45 degrees angle with nozzle in contact with both sides of joint.
4. Apply by pushing sealant ahead of the nozzle, thus ensuring filler is pushed firmly into place. Remove excess filler with wet putty knife or damp cloth. Bostik Master Painters Gap Sealer becomes touch dry within 30 minutes under normal conditions and can be painted over after approx. 2 hours.
Note:
Do not use to provide a seal where joint movement is excessive such as exterior weatherboards or timber joints. Painting will improve exterior durability. Protect from exposure to water for up to 4 hours after use.
Clean up:
Clean up immediately after use with water.
