Rust-Oleum© Specialty Chalk Board converts surfaces into a usable chalkboard. Apply to metal, wood, masonry, drywall, plaster, glass, concrete, un-glazed ceramics and hardboard.
Allow first coat to dry for 4 hours before applying second coat. After 3 days, the chalkboard finish is ready for use. Once cured, prepare surface for chalk by rubbing side of chalk over entire surface and erasing. This will leave a coat of chalk dust that will provide the best erasability. Chalkboard can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. Wait 7 days after painting before wiping it down.
Use Rust-Oleum Chalkboard brush on to create a black chalk board.
You Need:
Rust-Oleum Chalkboard Brush-on Paint
Foam roller
Masking tape
Sandpaper
How To:
1. Lightly sand and clean the surface that is to be painted. Allow to fully dry.
2. Tape off the area you would like to paint.
3. Read instructions on the box carefully on how to apply the paint.
4. Allow the surface to cure for at least 2 days before using any chalk.
