The Graco Airless WideRAC X WRLP Switch-Tip Yellow greatly improves productivity by creating a wider spray pattern and covers double the area of a regular RAC tip.

WideRAC tips are made for larger airless sprayers for bigger, industrial-sized jobs. Wide spraying is more difficult to control and the wide spray tips are not always available in all sizes.

When you use a WideRAC tip, be sure to increase the flow rate of the tip to ensure the same ml build and rate of application (arm speed). Also, first make sure your airless sprayer can support the larger tip size.

How to choose the correct airless paint spraying tip?

Quick Guide to Understanding Airless Spray Tips:

As an example, 517. 5 is the fan size in inches and is doubled (ie. 10 inches). 17 is the orifice size in thousandths of an inch. So a 517 will spray 10 inches wide through an orifice the size of 17 thousandths of an inch. Using that formula, a 413 tip would spray 8 inches wide through an orifice of 13 thousandths of an inch. Choosing the right tip for the right job is crucial!
