Here at PaintAccess, we often get questions about Graco’s warranty, how it works and what it covers. To help make things easier to understand, we have written this detailed warranty explanation blog to answer your questions about the warranty of each Graco sprayer. To put your mind at ease, Graco has a “We build it, we back it” rule. Although they state that they are confident you will not have to use the warranty, it is there if you need it.  Generally, Graco has three levels of warranty, 1 year, 3 years, and lifetime, and we will go through exactly what each type of warranty means.

What is warranty and why do I need it?

A warranty is a promise from the supplier or manufacturer encompassing what they will do if something goes wrong with a product or service. Under the Australian Consumer Law, these are called “warranties against defects”. Warranty helps you as the customer to rest assured that you’ll be covered in the case that something goes wrong with your Graco sprayer. Although it’s likely that you won’t have to use it - Grace’s warranty gives you peace of mind and protection so you can keep spraying with confidence!

What is not covered by the warranty?

Although warranty covers you in the case of something going wrong with the product, there are circumstances where you will not be covered. The warranty does not cover general wear and tear, or any malfunction or caused by faulty installation, misapplication, abrasion, corrosion, inadequate  or improper maintenance, negligence, accident, tampering, or substitution of non-Graco component parts. Graco also cannot be held liable for malfunction, damage or wear caused by the incompatibility of Graco equipment with structures, accessories, equipment or materials not supplied by Graco, or the improper design, manufacture, installation, operation or maintenance of structures, accessories, equipment or materials not supplied by Graco.

Voiding warranty

It’s important to note that your warranty may be voided in certain circumstances. Graco parts are designed to very specific standards. The use of Non-Graco Repair Parts may void your warranty. For further warranty coverage information, contact an authorised Graco distributor or visit Graco’s website.
