Description

Graco Airless RAC X LP (Low Pressure) Switch Tips

Superior Tip Design

The new FF LP tip features the patented Graco RAC X Tip with SmartTip Technology and exclusive internal tip geometry which delivers the industry's best finish at low airless spray pressure.

How to choose the correct airless paint spraying tip?

Quick Guide to Understanding Airless Spray Tips: E.g. 517. 5 is the fan size in inches and is doubled (ie. 10 inches). 17 is the orifice size in thousandths of an inch. So a 517 will spray 10 inches wide through an orifice the size of 17 thousandths of an inch. Using that formula, a 413 tip would spray 8 inches wide through an orifice of 13 thousandths of an inch. Choosing the right tip for the right job is crucial!

A bit of trial and error

The tip is great but if you haven’t used these tips and machine before, it is a bit of trial and error. Not cheap to by if you are just doing a small job at home. This one will give you more paint with normal paints but didn’t work well for roof paint. Tried to use on shutters and had to go for a smaller tip. However, it worked really well on the exterior rough/course brick wall of the house.
