Graco RAC X Airless Spray Gun 7/8" Tip Guard

The Graco Reverse a Clean airless spray guard attaches to all airless spray guns that are 7/8" thread. The guard acts as a safety device to prevent a persons body part to directly contact the tip when spraying paint, and also holds the paint sprayer tip in place

This guard will work with Graco's Reverse-A-Clean (RAC) X tips, as well as Graco's Fine Finish and WideRac tips. This guard is not compatible with Graco's RAC V and IV spray tips or spray tips from other manufacturers.

How to choose the correct airless paint spraying tip?

Quick Guide to Understanding Airless Spray Tips: E.g. 517. 5 is the fan size in inches and is doubled (ie. 10 inches). 17 is the orifice size in thousandths of an inch. So a 517 will spray 10 inches wide through an orifice the size of 17 thousandths of an inch. Using that formula, a 413 tip would spray 8 inches wide through an orifice of 13 thousandths of an inch. Choosing the right tip for the right job is crucial!
