Description

iQuip Timbabuild EHB60 Epoxy Filler

Timbabuild® EHB60 rebuilds large areas of decayed structures quickly and effectively. By removing the rotten wood, priming the surface, and then building up and moulding the surface, similar to a putty consistency, the hardened epoxy can be sanded or planed exactly like wood to provide the perfect finish. It provides a physical and chemical bond which is stronger than the original wood.

Technical & Handling Notes

  • EHB60 is a two-part system; mixing ratio must be followed precisely for effective cure and strength.
  • Apply only on timber that has first been stabilised with EWS primer and is dry.
  • Once placed and cured, the epoxy repair can be sanded, drilled, shaped or painted as timber.
  • Suitable for interior or exterior use when properly finished and sealed.
  • Always follow health & safety guidelines when working with epoxy systems — gloves, ventilation, protective masks recommended.

Applications:

  • Structural repair of beams, rafters, joists or posts with rot or damage.
  • Rebuilding window sills, door frames, thresholds, and external joinery damaged by moisture or decay.
  • Restoration of cladding, weatherboards, fascia, and exterior trim on heritage, residential or commercial buildings.
  • Replacing damaged sections in skirtings, architraves, mouldings, and decorative timber work.
  • Any timber renovation or repair job where restored strength and load-bearing capacity is required.
