By bundling your extraction setup, the sleeve significantly simplifies handling and maneuverability around the workshop. Most importantly, the soft, flexible outer layer glides smoothly over your workpiece, protecting delicate surfaces and edges from accidental scratches caused by dragging ribbed plastic hoses. Available in two lengths, the 3.5m sleeve pairs perfectly with the standard 4.3m cable, while the 9.8m option is designed to accommodate 10m hose and cable configurations.
Pro Tip: For optimal cable protection during use, Mirka recommends routing the power cable on the outside of the sleeve.

To prolong the lifeline of Mirka machines, we strongly recommend attaching cable and hose only to Mirka Hose Sleeve and Mirka Velcro Straps. NO cable ties should be used for it does not support the free movement of cable and hose.
