Description: Upgrade your electrical safety and reach with the Oldfields Fibreglass Guardrail Extension Pack. Designed exclusively for the Zippy Scaff Fibreglass Base Unit, this extension kit allows you to raise the working platform to a standing height of 1.9m (reaching approximately 3.9m) while maintaining essential insulation properties.

This pack is critical for electricians and contractors working in substations, computer rooms, or mines. It provides the necessary non-conductive guardrails and bracing to create a secure, enclosed workspace at height.

IMPORTANT: This is an EXTENSION PACK ONLY. It must be connected to an Oldfields Fibreglass Scaffolding Base Unit. It is not a standalone product. Due to the increased height, safety standards require the use of Outriggers to prevent tipping.

Electrical Safety Ratings:

• DC Insulation Resistance: 5kV
• AC High Voltage Withstand: 110kV / 220kV
• DC High Voltage Withstand: 80kV

Safety & Transport:

• Mandatory Requirement: As per AS/NZS 1576, all single-width towers must be fitted with Outriggers when the platform is positioned at 1.9m and above.
• Compliance: AS/NZS 1576.3-1995 compliant; Plant design registered with WorkCover NSW.
• Transport: Requires a Ute, Van, or large Station Wagon (with seats down) for pickup.
