Gravity has finally found a useful job on site. In our short introduction, Daniel gets hands-on with the DAN’S 700W Corded HVLP Electric Paint Sprayer Gun: a handheld sprayer with a top-mounted paint container and a power cord, rather than another battery to remember to charge.

If you are comparing paint sprayers for furniture, doors or detailed renovation work, here is a closer look at the design—and the coating checks that matter before you pull the trigger.

Watch Daniel’s quick introduction

Watch the DAN’S HVLP demonstration on YouTube.

This is a quick look at the tool on a construction site, not a laboratory comparison or a complete spraying course. Daniel introduces the gravity-fed layout and removable container. Our separate tinting experiment will get its own video, so we are keeping this introduction focused on the sprayer itself.

What stands out about this corded HVLP sprayer?

  • 700W corded power: no battery or charger is required.
  • Top-mounted graduated container: the markings let you see the material level.
  • Adjustable material flow and spray controls: set up for the surface and compatible coating, rather than expecting one setting to suit every job.
  • Removable components: access for cleaning after the job.

The current product listing includes one sprayer and one removable graduated container. Check the selected package for included accessories; a removable cup does not automatically mean extra cups are supplied.

Where would you use it?

PaintAccess lists furniture, cupboards, doors, trim, fences and general painting among the recommended applications. For any project, the finish depends on more than the tool: preparation, the coating, setup and application technique still matter. A neglected surface will not become a showroom finish simply because Daniel looks confident holding the sprayer.

Can it spray Dulux Aquanamel or Metalshield?

This is the question worth asking before choosing any spray gun. A brand name alone is not a compatibility test.

Dulux’s Aquanamel application guide includes HVLP spray guidance. That is useful information about the coating, but it is not an approval of every handheld sprayer. Match the exact coating, nozzle and preparation instructions to the equipment you will use.

For Metalshield, check the technical and safety data sheets for the exact product—not just the range name. Before buying for a particular coating, send the PaintAccess team its full name and the job you have in mind so we can help you check the requirements.

What about two-pack coatings?

Do not assume this sprayer is suitable for two-pack or flammable coatings. Compatibility must be confirmed for both the sprayer and the specific material. Some two-pack systems contain isocyanate hardeners; Safe Work Australia identifies spray painting with these materials as a source of isocyanate exposure. This short product introduction is not a recommendation to spray them without the necessary equipment, training and exposure controls.

Before your first project

Read the sprayer instructions and coating data sheets, prepare a suitable work area and use the specified protective equipment. Start with a test piece rather than your customer's finished door. Confirm the setup before moving to the main job, and follow the prescribed cleaning procedure afterwards.
